Heart of Europe, Mother of Towns, City of a Hundred Spires – one of the most beautiful European cities. Situated on the Vltava River with 18 bridges arching over it, one of them being the world renowned Charles Bridge made of stone and lined with Baroque statues. Baroque changed Prague once and for all. A hectic building boom created here the world's unique architectural gems, churches, monasteries, palaces, town houses, statues, sculptures and beautiful gardens. It seems that all Baroque influences from the early stages to High Baroque and from Italian Baroque to Late Baroque or even Baroque Classicism once and still do adorn the streets of the city.
